Imperial Hotel, Miri standard check-in time begins at 3:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm. Early arrivals and late departures are based on availability, fees may apply. For more information, kindly call 085-431133.
Tourism tax will be officially enforced on1st September 2017. Malaysians and permanent residents will be exempted from paying the tax, while foreign tourists will be charged a flat rate of RM10 per room per night for all hotel classifications follow by Tourism Tax Act 2017.
Security Deposit is compulsory upon check in. The deposit is fully refundable upon check out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
Reservations must be cancelled seventy-two (72 hours) hotel time, prior to your arrival date, in order to avoid a one (1) night full room cancellation fee. If reservations are cancelled less than 72 hours before the arrival date, your credit card may be charged the full room charge. If you are staying more than one (1) night, only the first night will be charged. If you cancel any reservation, you must obtain and save the cancellation number for your records.
NO SHOW CHARGES
Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date for a reservation guaranteed with a credit card will result in a No-Show fee being charged to your credit card. You will only be charged the first night, one (1) night’s full room rate and the balance of the reservation will be cancelled
Please note all the requests will not be guaranteed as they are subject to availability upon your arrival to the hotel only. In case that there is an accessibility request (i.e. wheelchair), please contact us before submitting the reservation.
The total number of occupants in the room, including children, shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types:
Hotel Room : maximum 4 persons (2 adults + 2 children)
1 Room Apartment : maximum 4 persons (2 adults + 2 children)
2 Rooms Apartment Deluxe : maximum 5 persons (3 adults + 2 children)
2 Rooms Apartment Executive : maximum 6 persons (4 adults + 2 children)
3 Rooms Apartment : maximum 9 persons (6 adults + 3 children)
Additional adults sharing a room will incur a charge of RM100 Nett per person, per night.
These limits are for guest safety and comfort, as well as to avoid excessive wear and tear. Please respect these limits and do not entertain visitors or bring extra persons into your hotel guest room except for brief periods during the day but not later than 11 pm. Undeclared or unregistered guest will incur a charge of RM100 per person per day.
Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). I.D. is required if you have lost your key and require a duplicate. Please return room keys to Front Desk at Check-out.
All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in. Parking for registered guest(s) is free. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Imperial Hotel not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. Please validate your card parking at Lobby Front Desk only before leaving the premises. Kindly provide your Room number & guest registered name for free validation. Once your card parking is validated, it will expire in 1 hour. After check out, overnight parking is not permitted. Unauthorised vehicles will be liable for clamping penalty of RM300 and car parking charges.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OR FIRE
Please notify Front Desk in the event of a fire or other emergency. A map that shows emergency exits can be found on the back of your room door and in the Guest Information Notebook located in each guest room.
SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
Guests are encouraged to keep their valuables in the in-room safe or in the Safe Deposit Box provided at the Front Desk. The Hotel shall not be liable for the loss of money or other personal valuables during your stay.
Each room guest is responsible for maintaining the guest room or apartment items. Should you decide to take any items from your room, we will assume you approve a corresponding charge to your account.
LOST & FOUND POLICY
The Imperial Hotel, Miri no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item
Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charge in full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. Damage discovered after check-out; guest rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.
CHANGES OR MODIFICATION TO THE HOTEL POLICY/HOUSE RULES
Imperial Hotel, Miri the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary or add to these Hotel Policies/House Rules or the arrangements and content featured on our Hotel website at any time without prior notice. Please check our website regularly for updates to Hotel Policy/House Rules. Any modification to these Hotel Policy/House Rules that occurs before your departure is considered a part of your reservations agreement with us. A copy of these Hotel Policy/House Rules is located on our website, in the Guest Room Notebook, and available from Front Desk staff upon request.
